Las nominaciones para The Game Awards 2025 fueron anunciadas este lunes, y “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33” se posiciona como el gran favorito al recibir 12 nominaciones, la mayor cantidad para un solo juego en los 11 años de historia del evento.
La ceremonia, conducida por Geoff Keighley, se celebrará el 11 de diciembre en el Peacock Theater de Los Ángeles, de 5-8 p.m. PT / 8-11 p.m. ET. Este año, el show cuenta con 29 categorías competitivas, incluyendo Juego del Año, además de estrenos mundiales, anuncios importantes y presentaciones musicales. El elenco de la serie Fallout de Amazon también participará como presentadores.
Desde su debut en 2014, The Game Awards se ha transmitido gratuitamente en plataformas como YouTube, Twitch, X, TikTok y servicios chinos, alcanzando más de 154 millones de vistas en 2024. En 2025, el evento sumará una transmisión adicional en Prime Video, gracias a una nueva alianza con Amazon.
En la categoría principal de Juego del Año, compiten títulos como Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Hades II, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Donkey Kong Bananza y Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, junto al líder indiscutible Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
En dirección, narrativa, arte y música, “Clair Obscur” vuelve a aparecer repetidamente, consolidándose como la producción más destacada del año. Otros favoritos incluyen Ghost of Yōtei, Death Stranding 2, Hades II y Hollow Knight: Silksong, que también acumulan múltiples nominaciones.
El apartado de mejor actuación reúne una lista notable, incluyendo a Ben Starr, Charlie Cox y Jennifer English por Clair Obscur, junto a Erika Ishii por Ghost of Yōtei y Konatsu Kato por Silent Hill f.
