Memes resumen dificultoso lanzamiento digital de PS5 y Xbox Series X|S

Todos recuerdan el caos que fueron las pre-órdenes de las consolas de nueva generación, y muchos revivieron la pesadilla con el lanzamiento de Xbox Series X|S y PS5, pues las ventas en tiendas en línea resultaron ser una dificultosa odisea.

Esta semana abrieron ventas en línea de Xbox Series X|S el 10 de noviembre y PS5 el 12 de noviembre en tiendas como Best Buy, Target y Walmart, donde en la última hubieron periodos de órdenes comenzando a las 1PM, 4PM, 7PM y 10PM, pero no todo transcurrió de manera efectiva.

El lunes pasado abrieron pre-órdenes en línea de ambas consolas y la demanda fue tanta que hubieron problemas por dos horas hasta que finalmente abrieron las órdenes a las 9am para luego acabarse en solo minutos. Pero lo que sucedió en días de lanzamiento estuvo a otro nivel, al punto que es sumamente difícil encontrar un humano que haya logrado conseguir una consola en estos periodos (lo encontramos).

Pues, en cada una de las horas establecidas ocurrieron problemas. Por ejemplo, a las 12:59PM páginas en línea funcionaban como normal. Una vez daban las 1PM en punto, ocurrían todo tipo de problemas en las páginas que impedían a jugadores entrar en ellas, colocar una consola en su carrito, ir más allá del carrito a checkout; y en fin, las consolas quedaban todas vendidas en menos de 2 minutos, cuidado si segundos.

Esto llevó a muchos a pensar en los famosos bots y scalperos que compran todas las unidades disponible cuando horas específicas son anunciadas en tiendas, pues les facilita el proceso y la organización de estos bots, para luego vender las consolas en precios ridículos. Incluso, hay personas en línea vendiendo consolas en casi $2,000.

Mientras tanto, consolas de nueva generación no se venderán físicamente en tiendas por el futuro cercano, así que vayan preparándose mentalmente para futura disponibilidad en línea, sea cuando ocurra eso.

Xbox Series X|S lanzaron el 10 de noviembre y PS5 el 12 de noviembre, en Estados Unidos, Japón, Canadá, México, Australia, Nueva Zelanda, y Corea del Sur. Lanzará el 19 de noviembre en demás partes del mundo.
